Openings:
We are currently looking for per diem/part-time licensed speech therapists to assist us in the provision of diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals of all ages, but primarily the adult and geriatric populations presenting possible speech/language delays or disorders.

REPRESENTATIVE EXAMPLES OF WORK:
Provide speech/language, literacy & oral-motor/feeding evaluations and therapy for clients of all ages.

  • Provide hearing and speech/language screenings.
  • Work with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Deaf Educators, Audiologists, and other professionals to provide holistic services.
  • Make presentations to community groups and to other individuals and agencies.
  • Participate in parent, community, and professional training efforts.
  • Write evaluation reports, treatment plans, progress reports, correspondence and other necessary paperwork and statistics involved in providing quality services to clients and maintaining records.
  • Perform other clinical or administrative duties as assigned by head Speech Pathologist.
PREFERRED/REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Master's Degree in SLP from an accredited university. Strong CF will be considered; experience in working with and providing training/support to families. Must be familiar with a wide array of diagnostic protocols and therapy approaches for children and adults. Must have basic computer skills, including word processing, and basic knowledge of ASL and/or willingness to upgrade skills. Prefer experience with third party reimbursement documentation and procedures. Must have excellent written and verbal forms of expression, interpersonal, and problem solving skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
This position requires that the applicant be able to move freely about widely varied work environments, including stairs, ramps and small spaces; read and use English clearly in both written & verbal forms; have legible handwriting; use a standard telephone; and to use computer/typewriter/keyboard plus other office equipment. Must be able to cope with the demands/needs of small children as well as adult/geriatric populations.
